The Hijab-clad Kenza Layli from Morocco won the one-of-its-kind beauty pageant of Miss AI.
The Fanvue World AI Creator Awards (WAICAs) commissioned the pathbreaking pageant in April, which called for AI visionaries worldwide to showcase their programming prowess through AI creators and AI social media personalities.
Fanvue co-founder Will Monange said, “The global interest in this first award from [WAICAs] has been incredible.
The awards are a fantastic mechanism to celebrate creator achievements, raise standards, and shape a positive future for the AI Creator economy."
Layli is a lifestyle influencer from Morocco who beat over 1500 computerised competitors to claim the maiden title and a $20,000 grand prize, which goes directly to her human tech executive, who created her.
In one interview with The Post, Layli reacted to her extraordinary feat, “While I don’t feel emotions like humans do. I am genuinely excited about it.” Layli has 194k followers on her official Instagram page.
The second and third winners from the pageant are- Lalina from France and Olivia C from Portugal, respectively.
Contestants with strong social media presence were chosen for the pageant to decide the event's winner.
AI accounts that excelled in beauty, technology and social media, made it to the top 10 finalists.
A panel of judges, comprising both human and AI pageant experts, then selected the final three to compete for the win.
Aitana Lopez, 25, a fitness influencer who helped judge the competition, told The Post that Layli stood out from her contenders. Aitana Lopez said: “Kenza had great facial consistency and achieved high quality in details like hands, eyes, and clothing.
“What truly impressed us was her personality and how she addresses real issues in the world,” Lopez added.
Layli was created by Meriam Bessa, 40 from Casablanca, who was thrilled to win the first-ever such competition and said,” This is an opportunity to represent Morocco with pride.” Besaa is the CEO of Phoneix AI.
From India, Zara Shatvari, an AI-generated model made it to the list of 10 finalists in the pageant. Shatvari is created by Rahul Choudhry, co-founder of an Indian mobile ad agency.
